Railston Cottage is traditionally stone built with the added bonus of a secluded walled and very private sun trap garden which is accessed from the Sun Room or kitchen. Built approximately in 1820 the property has undergone major refurbishment in 2009. and now offers 3 double en suite bedrooms 2 on the first floor and one on the ground floor with direct access out to the garden via patio doors, the ground floor bedroom has been designed with a wet room style bathroom roomy enough for wheelchair access. The whole of the ground floor is tiled with under floor heating in kitchen/diner snug lounge and sunroom. The Snug lounge also has a wood burning stove, ideal when the nights become cooler.

Utility Room has access to a lane and houses the washing machine and fridge freezer with space for outdoor shoes & clothing
Kitchen/Dining Room (with access to the garden & patio area)
Fully fitted with extraction to outside, dishwasher, cooker, hob microwave and fridge and all the usual kitchen utensils. Oak dining table with six chairs (a high chair and cot can be supplied on request)
On through to the snug lounge which has easy chairs leather settee and multi-channel digital T.V DVD player with a selection of D.V.D’s Board games for both Adult & Children are available
Sun Room this is a continuation of the snug room Very light giving an airy feel ideal for day or night use perfect for relaxing
Ground Floor Bedroom This is a large room accessed from the Sun Room or Patio Door via the garden with tiled floor and twin zip and lock beds which can be made into a double if required the en suite is almost fully tiled with a wet floor shower giving easy access to the less agile.
The stairs and the upstairs bedrooms are carpeted throughout with the exception of the bathrooms, which are tiled.
The smaller double has a shower W.C and Wash basin the larger double has W.C Bath and Shower with Wash basin .All the bathrooms have heated towel rails and shaver sockets
The cottage is all-electric and the cost is included in the price, which also includes all the bed linen towels and tea towels. Plus a welcome pack, very handy for late arrivals.
Railston Cottage has been comprehensively equipped with the comfort of guests paramount, with that in mind, we do not allow smoking in the house or pets of any kind.
